CHARACTERISTICS |
RUBATOR DTMT is a very
strong accelerator suitable for natural rubber, SBR, NBR, IIR, and
EPDM, also acts as retarder for CR. Most widely used among ultra
accelerators. Since it tends to scorch, certain precautions are
necessary. Critical temperature recommended ( 100 - 120 °C
)
In case of sulfur vulcanization, RUBATOR DTMT acts as activator for
delayed action type accelarator as N-cyclohexylbenzothiazyl
sulfenamide ( Rubenamid C ) etc. , and dibenzothiazyl disulfide (Rubator
MBTS). |

Used as activator of all
kinds of products and is effective for vulcanization at low
temperature. |

RUBATOR DTMT is used for
sulfurless vulcanization ( 2.8 to 4.5 PHR ). A part of sulfur may be
substituted with it to improve anti-aging properties and heat
resistance of the finished products. |

APPLICATIONS |

RUBATOR DTMT is
used in the manufacture of transparent, white, translucent or
coloured goods, surgial and medical items, toys, footwear,
products that require heat resistance, insulation, cables and
wiring fabric water-proofing, tubes and pipes, profiles, hard
rubber products or rapid vulcanization belts, sporting goods,
inner tubes, dipped products and technical goods. |
